You ride in an area with a various landscape in the South of La Rochelle, in the West of the town Cognac, North of the Gironde river and we will ride to the place, where the Gironde is going into the sea, and East of the island Oleron and on this island.
The Bordeaux wine area is on the other side of the Gironde river and may be visited before or after the riding tour.
On the trip, you will visit some castles, a Cognac vineyard, a small village, which has still its military fortification walls from the 17th century all around and you will have some beach rides on the island and the Atlantic Coast.
The Oleron island is one of the most important oyster producing regions.
Each day you will ride from 5 to 6 hours, discovering a region rich in natural and cultural heritage.
Your guide will offer you the privilege to enter in a castle by horse, where you can take photos as souvenirs of your holidays.
Included : Accommodations in three star hotels or manor house (guest house), all meals, for 6 riding days / 7 nights.
